Sigh

She will be here tomorrow.

And I want to go. (Yes, I have her cookbook.)

It is not far, it is not difficult.

But I know John won't want me to go by myself.

And sometimes I wish she was still here, then I could drag her with me, and it would all be fine.

Like the time I dragged her to a Toby Keith concert ( which by the way was FABULOUS) even though she does not like country music. And the times I have dragged her shopping, even when she was tired. Or to the movies, when she wanted to finish her paper. And yes, even when I drag her out of bed Black Friday at 5:30 am.

And she was a pretty good sport about it, too.

Except maybe the Toby Keith concert.

I had to pay up big with food.

BIG.

I'm know this has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but I just found your blog through "Brown Circus-Faith in every footstep" and I saw that you guys are with AGCI. We are also! Don't you just LOVE Kate? She's the best! We are on day 72 waiting for our LOA.
Congratulations on getting to travel soon! Your little girl is very cute! All the best to you.

I wanted to go see HER as well. SHE was here last week and I even had a friend that wanted to go with me. Alas, the arm bands were handed out at 9:00 a.m. and the signing was not until 7:00 p.m. and the bookstore is an hour away from me. Which meant... I would have been away from home the ENTIRE day, which would never have worked at this point in my life. Oh well....

Her cookbook is fantastic and all of the recipes that I have ever tried are just amazing. I am so with you on wanting to be there.
