Its a good time to be RED

Red Sox are still alive!!

SO, I drove by Rutgers stadium tonight to my friends house, and it was a ZOO. Well, it was a zoo because I didn't have tickets to the game. If I had tickets, I wouldn't have minded the traffic. :)

Rutgers is 15 minuted from my house, and we Jerseyan are so very proud of them.

Finally.

It used to be that nobody followed Rutgers. What I mean is we wanted to follow it but the best we could do was we read the paper the next day, and groan. They couldn't give tickets away. It was said that "If only we could have something to cheer about..."

Rutgers just beat #2 SFU. 30 -27.

:) thats something to cheer about!

Its tough watching 2 games at a time. But thankfully they both won.

I'm glad you stopped by my blog! I do love salsa and I'll have to try it on steak - I've never done that.

Congrats on your red teams. I only know about Rutgers from Regis & Kelly this morning. I have family in Maine, though, and they follow the Red Sox. I do know they play tomorrow night and I'll be wishing them luck. As you probably know, the Braves have been out of it for a while!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

P.S. I've been reading some of your older posts and we have a LOT in common! My oldest daughter is about to be 22 (next month). My "baby" is also a 3rd grader (a daughter). I do have a 19 year old son and a 13 year old daughter as well. I also homeschool, which you probably knew. We've been doing that for about 13 years now.

And, I LOVE football - especially college football - especially Georgia Bulldogs football. We are watching it (or listening to it) every weekend.

Also Fall is by far my favorite season. Always has been, always will be. I love the cooler weather and I love the fact that football starts the end of August!
